How We Started
The Company was established in 2001 in response to a local planning exercise that identified a number of areas that the village wished to address.
What We Do
The Company has been responsible for the establishment of:
• community newsletter
• drama Group
• heritage group
• wildlife group
• marketing group/business forum
• community garden
• website
• number of local festivals.
The company works closely with its sister company, Boat of Garten Community Hall, which has raised over £1m and overseen the build of a brand new community hall which opened in August 2007.

Our Future Plans
The company is also working with local partners to establish a centre point for visitors to the village, which would include a retail outlet for local crafts, and is exploring the idea of setting up a railway museum.
