Wellhouse Community Trust

How We Started

Established in September 2003 the organisation evolved through the drive of the local housing provider and the need for a focus on regeneration and service development for the community as a whole.

What We Do

We have three community facilities including “the hub” a community education and employment facility; “innerzone” a facility for young people and, “hubSports” a sports facility. The organisation directly delivers two community cafes, walking club, elderly lunch club, cheerleading, ICT, various social and community events/evenings, advice and support, youth drop-in, youth holiday programmes, music/recording studio, family excursions, family support, a wide variety of volunteering opportunities and confidence building initiatives.

In addition by working in partnership with other local organisations WCT is able to provide; Get Ready for Work Training; IT courses; Credit Union; Alternative Therapies; Employment Advice; Money Advice; Learning Disability Newsletter Group and a variety of other seasonal or ad hoc services and support.
