The Trust's main focus is to reverse population decline (particularly of families and young people) secure sustainable employment opportunities, and provide key social and recreational services.The Trust runs
A youth club for ages 12 to 23
Other youth activities e. trips to other islands
A ranger service offering guided walks, talks and brochures covering Hoy and the adjacent islands of Graemsay and Flotta
A website with local events calendar
Has produced a visitor brochure for the island.
The Trust recently secured planning permission, land, grid connection and funding to develop a wind turbine.
