Become part of this inspiring network by joining as a Full, Provisional or Associate member.

We’ve found membership of DTA Scotland incredibly useful, in particular the opportunity to network with and learn from other communities across Scotland.

Membership of DTAS also means that our grass roots experience is used to inform and shape the policies of national government, key funders and other important decision makers.

We are particularly keen to encourage other organisations and agencies that provide support to development trusts, particularly at a local or regional level, to join as associate members. This can lead to the development of a mutually beneficial partnership arrangement between DTAS and the particular associate member.

Joining is simple:

  • Complete and return the Full, Provisional or Associate membership form along with any supporting documents required.
  • On receipt of a Full or Provisional application, DTAS will send a confirmation e-mail and contact you to arrange a membership assessment meeting. A report will then be written for the DTAS Board, including a recommendation on membership approval.
  • A membership visit will not be required for Associate member applicants.
  • Confirmation of membership will be confirmed in writing, enclosing a membership certificate, welcome pack and invoice, if applicable
