We manage and maintain the Millburn Centre and are currently exploring opportunities to purchase the building.Over the years the Trust has provided premises at the Centre to a number of voluntary sector organisations who provide a range of important services to our local community. Many of our tenants provide employment and training opportunities along with many other essential services.
The Trust also has 2 wholly owned subsidiary companies. In 1993 the directors of the Trust recognised that in order to achieve long term self sufficiency a larger portfolio of managed workspace was required. Rosemount (workspace) Ltd was formed in 1997. A derelict site in Royston was identified, and following negotiations, a lease for 125 years was concluded with Glasgow City Council Thereafter we secured a mixed capital funding package for development of the site and new build premises. Our funding was secured from a variety of sources, including European funds, Glasgow City Council and our private sector partners Royal Bank of Scotland. The Charles Street site currently provides premises to a number of commercial tenants on leases ranging from 3 years to 25 years and currently enjoys 92% occupancy. The site is managed and maintained to a very high standard by onsite staff. Roystonhill Spire and Park Ltd was formed in November 2000 to preserve and maintain an A-Listed building known as Roystonhill Spire.
